More Than a Career: My Journey of
Self-Discovery and Impact

Early Spark & Dot for My Dreams: In my childhood, had a love for science, art and innovation. Was eager to become a scientist but without career awareness studied history in high school, after that not interested for regular college study. There was a dot for my dream.

Self-Taught from Village to City Lights: Then I picked second love art and learned visual design by self-study and came out of my village and started my career as a visual designer in Chennai city.

Empathy Awakened: While working as a designer, I understand about design is all about understanding people, their stories, their pain, their needs, research synthesising, ideating, designing and testing with people. Then It was a tremendous pull towards Design Thinking.

Connecting the Dots: Learned Design Thinking by self-study. In couple of years took a role of UX Manager in Harman international and started making positive experience through design. Connected the dots backwards for science, art & innovation.

A Leader & Mentor: Today, I’m a seasoned UX Design Leader with over 19 years of experience. I have a proven track record of success, leading teams, mentoring designers, and delivering impactful solutions for 25 millions of users.

Beyond Regular Job: Passionate about empowering rural communities, I founded Non-Profit Design Sangam. We transform lives through design thinking, equipping students & workers with the skills to excel in UX careers. Imagine painters, masons, and factory workers becoming UX designers! Our 6-month course equips them with the tools and knowledge to succeed, opening doors to new opportunities and uplifting their communities.

Design Sangam is more than a school; it's a bridge: We connect rural talent with the possibilities of design, believing everyone deserves to explore their creativity and solve real-world problems. By nurturing design thinking, we empower individuals and communities, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

My Values

Empathy-Driven Design.
Deeply understanding users' needs, motivations, and emotions is my guiding principle.

I prioritize user research and actively listen to stories to ensure every design decision resonates with them.

Collaboration is the Journey.

I believe diverse perspectives are the fuel for innovation. I foster collaborative environments where team members can openly share ideas and work together seamlessly to craft exceptional experiences.

Curiosity is the Fuel.

I'm perpetually driven by a thirst for knowledge and embrace new challenges with a growth mindset. I actively seek out trends, technologies, and methodologies to push boundaries and propose innovative solutions.

Impact is the Destination.

Beyond usability, I strive for solutions that create positive and measurable social or environmental impact. My designs aim to contribute to a more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable future.

Humility is the Compass.

I approach every project with a beginner's mind, maintaining a respectful and open communication style. I believe learning is a continuous journey, and I am always open to feedback and new perspectives.

Empowering Leadership.

I cultivate an environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and supported to reach their full potential. By fostering open communication, clear expectations, and ongoing learning opportunities, I enable them to collaborate effectively, contribute their unique strengths, and ultimately, excel together towards achieving shared goals.
